Funny

Ken Jennings, the guy who won $2.5 mil on Jeopardy!, takes a few fun jabs at the show, and especially the Trebektron 4000.

Drugs

Proving once again it's inability and unwillingness to use rational thought processes, instead of just making this relatively harmless "drug" legal (or should I say by not pointlessly making it illegal) - thereby depriving it's traffickers (a group which includes Somali warlords, as well as other unsavory individuals) of the opportunity for profit - the U.S. government adds yet another front to the already grossly expensive, futile and ineffective "War On Drugs".

This shit is really getting old. The knee-jerk moralists seem to keep thinking they just haven't used enough force yet. I really wonder which ones actually realize that it's mostly just another tool in the actual War On Individual Rights.

Scary

As Israel gets ready to go into Lebanan.... will we finally find out where Saddam Hussein hid his weapons in Lebanan and Syria? It is scary to think that Israel might be walking into a death trap of chemicals

Interesting

Located near the town of Mirna in Siberia, this hole is really, REALLY large. It's so big it dwarfs the nearby city, and causes "suction" that precludes helicopters from flying over it.

More priceless advertising, this one from the dustbin, but worth a look if you've never seen it before. That HeadOn ad just reminded me of this for some reason.

Cool

There is nothing wrong with inviting in those who are less intelligent. One should never deprive anyone from an education... even though it is a LONG way to go to get educated.

The London aquarium has autonomous, functional robotic fish swimming around in it. Cool.

About

Anybody reading or read any good books lately? I'm especially looking for some good fiction, especially science fiction. But I'm interested in good non-fiction, too.

Funny

I'm sure you've all seen or heard about it, but you may have missed this episode of some TV show. I'm not out to bash that idiot Bush or anything, cause anybody could "step in it" like this, but this clip is funny.

I have far too many channels and too little time to know what or where this clip actually came from.

Watch it till the very last second, for best benefit.

Entertainment

This little trailer from YouTube looks like it might make a pretty interesting movie, if it's possible for it to ever get made.

Drugs

I'm considering increasing the readership of NWC by telling some people about it (imagine).

Unfortunately, they're liberals, and this place already leans so far left it's hard for me to keep it from falling all the way over.

But, uh, welcome anyway.
