Spock shows his true Rock nature by whipping out some solo material he's been working on. He'd REALLY blow them away if he'd pull FREEBIRD outta the bag.

Much like gasoline, some asshole I've never met in a city I've never been to thinks he should be able to regulate how much I pay for sex and drugs.

In the words of some whore somewhere I respect and admire immensely, "How can it be illegal to sell what it's legal to give away?"

So, in any case, YES, pot should be legal. That said, I think the $50 per ounce tax is rather modest... hell... I live almost in Mexico. I haven't used pot in many years, but I understand it's still cheap here, say, $15 - $20 an eighth. No reason people can't pay sales tax on it... I do for cheeseburgers!

I mean, I'm against big government and ANY form of income tax... but a sales tax is perfectly legit if we MUST pay taxes of any kind. And of course, none of us are angels, so all forms of victimless crimes should be de-criminalized.

Just one of the things that's so very wrong with giving these companies DRM control over your electronic devices. Good luck to all you "owners" of Kindles, Ipods, Iphones, and all those things that you thought you bought.

"I believe that we the people will eventually see the criminality of the Obama administration and eventually stop them one way or another, so I have eternal faith in my fellow man," he says. "I can't believe this experiment in self-government is over. I can't believe the documents our founding fathers clearly articulated and wrote are going to be abandoned for tyranny and slavery, and that's really what Obama represents. He represents that 'you people are so stupid and inept, I'll have to cover you.' I just don't believe that's true."

On the 40th Anniversary of the tragic deaths of the Apollo 11 crew, we remember the brave astronauts with this transcript of the speech given by President Nixon on that doleful occasion.

Well, really, there was about a 50/50 chance that the lift-off engine on the LEM would fail. This speech, and a whole protocol, was ready to go, just in case. If there are alternate universes, the one right next door really used it.

This guy hits the nail on the head when he points out that the people on TV mourning the passing of their "colleague" are mistaken.

Oh. My. God. Nothing A Little Centralized Beauracracy Couldn't Fix, right?

Superior Court Judge Dane Perkins ruled that Hatley was indigent and should not be jailed for not being able to make child support payments. Perkins postponed a decision on whether Hatley should have to make any more back payments on child-support for a child who is not his.

In June of last year, a judge ordered Hatley to jail for failing to reimburse the state for public assistance that was paid to support his "son," who, as the court was aware, is not actually his son.
